Does anyone know of or could recommend a company that is knowledgable on fuel injection for a 4.2 E Type

Don't know where in the country you are, e600, but Yattendon Garage in Berkshire do it. Small article on them in this months C&SC.

Another one for Etype UK.

This is one of theirs albeit before the air filters were fitted...Starts on the button anytime and runs clean throughout the rev range.Great upgrade

That looks to be a very neat conversion. I'm not sure of the feasibility of this for a number of reasons, but could you not just fit all the relevant bits from a S3 XJ6? It would look almost factory and cost very little.

I think performance would suffer, and as it will be a Lightweight replica I am not sure it would look "period".

I've done a couple of these - it is well worth it. You can now get DCOE lookalike injecion bodies for that period look too!

I did say factory, not period, but point taken! I just thought it might look more original than an aftermarket conversion. I don't know how the output would compare with the carbed version, or how adaptable it is to modifications, hence my doubts to the suitability.
