Air Con in a classic car, is there a solution ?
Discussion
Living in Asia I know of loads of classics with air con systems, I actually have one in my Elan, and currently having the system in my Lotus Carlton tropicalized/upgraded.
Because of availability people here use Proton ones, these are actually very high quality, and looking at what you can buy a Wira for in the UK may be cheep for you. here what they here do is throw out the heater and use the heater vents. And there in I think my be your problem air con is easy to do, and you could do yourself if you can fabriacte the mounts and belt drives, but air com and heater or a proper climate control system are a lot harder.
