Hoonigan,

Thanks for the link, i am on s steep learning curve re Aircon systems.

I do not need any heat just cool air which i think is the option you went for.

Could you tell me what extra parts you needed in addition to the unit you purchased,

Living in Asia I know of loads of classics with air con systems, I actually have one in my Elan, and currently having the system in my Lotus Carlton tropicalized/upgraded.
Because of availability people here use Proton ones, these are actually very high quality, and looking at what you can buy a Wira for in the UK may be cheep for you. here what they here do is throw out the heater and use the heater vents. And there in I think my be your problem air con is easy to do, and you could do yourself if you can fabriacte the mounts and belt drives, but air com and heater or a proper climate control system are a lot harder.
