Good morning, I think this may be better suited here than the FIAT Alfa and Lancia section, so here goes.

Can those with knowledge of it give me a rough idea what a clutch replacement will cost at a reputable "Italian car specialist" on a 105 coupe. For argument's sake let's say there are no complications during the job. I've heard various suggestions for the time needed so let me know what you've found out about that too.

I know this is a bit "how long's a piece of string" but I'm only after a rough idea.

Thanks

You'd be better placed to ask, or search; http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/the-classic-alfa-ro... or http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/gt-1963-1977/

It's several hours labour at the very least plus parts and anything else that's found dodgy on inspection (slave cylinder, giubo, engine mounts, centre bearing). Cost of parts can be toted up from the usual suspects; EBspares, ClassicAlfa, Alfaholics

No affiliation with any of them.

Blimey. How long's a piece of string?

Depending where you are I'd give Ian Ellis or Alfaholics a ring and ask them!

I did mine last week; took about two hours including getting the prop, box, and starter motor out of the way. The parts were £150 from Classic Alfa.

Not a hard job.

Thanks one and all! Some good leads there.
