Rolls-Royce Silver Spur Mulliner Park Ward
Discussion
Hello,
I just finished giving my Silver Spur a clean and decided to take a few pictures, there are still a few bits and bobs to sort which I will hopefully do over the Winter but she is starting to come together.
Interior with a couple of bits of crystal on display
The other side with the humidor open
The front
The boot
and finally the engine bay
Kind regards,
Robin

I don't smoke but having seen this I need a humidor in my car.
Were the glasses and other things official RR accessories at the time? Sure beats mudflaps and a bike rack.

Yes the glasses etc.,.. were all standard items for a Mulliner edition car but you could I am sure order them as an option on an ordinary Spur

OP excuse my ignorance please. How did the Mulliner Park Ward differ from a "standard" car ? Looks to be slightly longer wheelbase judging by the rear doors ?
LWB as standard. The same as a Spur.Bordeaux colour paint as standard with colour matched bumpers and polished stainless steel bumper inserts.
"Special" door threshold stainless steel plates.
Cocktail cabinets with decanters and glasses using spring closing.
Unique picnic tables, with sliding tops and humidor.
Fridge located where standard rear armrest would be if raised. Compressor occupies/distorts, some of RH boot sidewall.
Veneered door centre panels.
Sap-wood incorporated into book and 1/4 matched veneers.
Extra badging.
There were probably a few other changes but these were the most significant.

Beautiful, but not sure about the badge bar, spoils the looks of the front of the car for me, bit like looking at Buckingham Palace with a flea market on the driveway! Looks to be in fabulous condition and a lovely colour scheme.
Badge bars were not unusual on these cars, especially on Bentley models. Actually fitting a badge to one however was incredibly rare.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
