Gents
I have recently had some seats made to replace the existing ones in my Healey. Here are some photos of the finished article. Now, can anyone spot why I am unhappy with the end result? No? Let me give you a clue. If you look really hard, you may spot a slight discrepancy towards the top of one of the seats. Still struggling? A little prompt perhaps? Does the word symetry spring to mind? Is it just me being over fussy here or does the head rest on one seat look horribly crooked in comparison to the other? I have tried getting a response from the maker, but to no avail. The build quality is no where near the price tag and quite frankly I am fuming at not only the crap finished article, but the lack of any response from Ridgard. I am not one to name and shame, but on this occasion I feel it is well deserved.
Am I being unreasonable in jumping up and down over this?

There is only one seat picture to see, so it's kind of tricky to compare it to the other one??

It's like Peter Cook said to Dudley Moore ' I've got nothing against your right leg - trouble is neither have you!'

Is the Ridgard label not straight either?

As someone who can barely remain in a room if the pictures aren't square, my first reaction before even reading your post is that the headrest is off and so is the label. The shoulder seems to rise on the right also and the centre patch does also but only a tiny degree. Bit of folding in the leather in the corners?

However, my other pet hate is PHers paying for expensive trims, posting pictures and seeming to think that ruffles in the leather around the shoulders is remotely acceptable. PHers seem to find some of the most terrible trimmers out there and pay them an awful lot of money.

But then I went through three tailors until I found one who would entertain my need to have the stripes match up on my suit shoulders and the ability to do it.

Sorry. Having a problem uploading the picture of the other seat. You get the general idea though. It would seem most are in agreement that it is a shoddy piece of work.

It does look a bit skewiff, but will it not just tip round to set itself square again?.

The one in the OP's photo looks to be much better than the images in their website gallery. As above does the headrest not just need pulling square?

How much was the job in total?
