1965 mini suspension

i have a mate at work he,s brother has a 65 mini
the question is where is the best place to buy suspension for these in the uk
he wants the original not the converted springs

As standard, a '65 will have hydrolastic suspension (assuming its a saloon). LWB minis were always on rubber cones.

New displacers (one at each corner - in place of the rubber cones) are unobtainable now, but you might find some secondhand.

Most people convert to the rubber cones which preceded hydro, and was then re-introduced in about '72.

Coil spring conversions are a new development by the specialist suppliers to the racing boys.
