Has anybody found any promotional;/discount codes for NEC classic car show? I have tried Promotionalcodes.org.uk but their site just seems to take you around a loop without actually showing any discount code.

I am going on the Friday but resent paying an additional £6.50 over the Saturday price. Quite how the NEC justifies a price premium for Friday, I don't know.

because it's the best day to attend

go on the Saturday or Sunday this year and save the price difference to Friday and see how you feel then

I have discount codes for club members - they're only valid for Saturday and Sunday.

That'll be the show organisers rather than the NEC, won't it? The NEC gets all the car park fees.

I'm tempted to go this year (for the very 1st time!) & i'm wondering whens the best day to go (without spending a fortune) & what really is the best way to get there & back.

I've been told to use the train as i have no one who can take me there & back(I live in Christchurch, Dorset)but any other suggestions are welcome, including the offer of lifts!

I also have club discount codes if anyone's interested

As for what day, last time I went on a Saturday and it was a nightmare really. Ok for th 1st few hours but absolutely heaving after. Food, seating, toilets are packed, plus you couldn't get close enough to see anything, ruined the day tbh, not sure if the other days are quieter?

I believe the train station isn't far away? Parking is expensive and still a bloody long walk!

Friday is by far the best day to go as it's a lot quieter, hence the price increase

only down sided is that it does attract the whiney old farts of the classic world, everything is too expensive, not enough widget stands, etc.

I went Saturday last year and by 2 o'clock in the afternoon you couldn't move let alone get close enough to see anything.
Without doubt they let too many people in. It put me off going again, maybe Friday would be a better day to go.

I went for all three days (four with set up) for 14 consecutive years - Friday is by far the best day to go
