Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?

I quite like it, apart from the wheels.

I'm probably wrong but 250GT California Spyder?

Wheels don't look right to me so probably a replica.

Possibly a real, albeit modern, California under the skin ...

The size of it was the biggest issue....as you can see from the X5 it's back in front of it's pretty wide and quite long....has none of the "delicacy" of a classic Ferrari.

I should have taken a photo up close but there's an insignia on the front wing just above the "gills"....three triangles arranged in a pattern. Might be a clue to who built it.

It's clearly not an older classic car of any sort. Look at the 5 stud bolt on wheels, no splined hubs, no spinners. It's probably something modern with an early 60s looking shell. Given the interior appears to be in keeping it looks like a lot of trouble to go to create something a bit awkward looking.

The windscreen/side windows/roof have to be the big clue - that bonded screen shouts "modern", but I can't quite place the glasshouse, with that funny little rear side window.

Any dash/interior pics?

Sorry no. But the interior did have a period look.

I have built a few replica/conversion cars in a similar vein to this based on Miata chassis ,the windscreen area does appear to be the same also the soft-top contours. the motor/engine can supercharged with a bolt-on "Jackson USA " kit or up graded to a 5litre Mustang V8 for a bit more power

The view from the rear has certain similarities to the Simpson "Italia" kit

When I first saw your pic, I thought that the windscreen looked very much like that of an MX5 / Miata.

Also - the windscreen looks too narrow for the car (to me anyway) which suggests there is probably some other vehicle lurking beneath that bodywork.
