Alex Jupe Open Day September 2014
Discussion
Attended Alex Jupe's Open Day in late September 2014. As some of you know, Alex is the registrar for the Alfettas for the Alfa Owners club and long time GTV6 restorer.
Apologies for the heavy Alfa content but some of the cars are pretty rare and Alex runs a tip top operation.
Mostly Alfetta but a few odd ones thrown in.
First photo are the Autodelta cars - my Alfetta GTV Turbodelta and Kevin Rascher's South African GTV 6 3.0 (engine parts raided from Autodelta Italy); more to follow later
Complete nut and bolt restoration Alfetta GTV6 - not cheap but Alex's attention to detail is impeccable, the cars are better than they came out of the factory!
One mean track machine.....looks better in the flesh!
Alex Jupe's 75 Nurburgring machine- looks like a showroom car.
My favourite 75 for the day - how they should have come!
A 75 Turbo Evoluzione undergoing surgery - cracked exhaust manifold (they all do that Sir)and borked turbo.
The main mechanical workshop you can literally eat off the floor there. The bodywork/paintshop is separate.
Some cool cars
The bumperless look ....3.0 24V powerplant
Alex Jupe adding up his money!
Awaiting light restoration - Fiat Dino - joke, actually a parts car
New development AP brake setup for the GTV6 -
Another shot of the turbodelta; has had a cosmetic respray in past as it has lost the garish orange/yellow sidestripes
Giulia GTAJ Replica with Jenvey/Omex ITB setup
The GTAJ engine
Fiat Dino spider
And last but not least, my £375 daily hack!

They are rare in the sense that they are not that common but not rare as is they are not worth that much if that makes sense!
IIRC I think they were on the 1.8 155s but as they are 15 inch they are markedly less thrash than the 16 inch wheels fitted to most sportpack versions - I have several 155s and interestedly this is the most original as is not messed about or modiefied and who most surprisingly has th best ride of them all !
