The styling seems to copy many elements of the Ferrari 166 by Touring (Carlo Anderloni), which were also cribbed by John Tojeiro for the cars that developed into the AC Ace.

Gairo: they are just amazing pics. I thought I had seen most of the Jaguar variants but these were all news to me.

New to me too. Although every panel has been replaced, the SS100 screen has been retained.
F.J.Bidée was a Belgian coachbuilder who re-bodied this car in 1951.
Bidée also built one-off bodies in this style on chassis by Alvis, Alfa Romeo & Talbot Lago.

More of a different Ferrari really, but there is also the Ferris de Joux special also known as the Ferraguar. It was built using a Ferrari f1 chassis and fitted with a engine from a Jaguar. The body was Ferris de Joux and he used 2500 hours on the job. The chassi was later restored back to its original Ferrari F1 design later on and the body was presumable scrapped.

That looks like the Daimler XJS but not "the" one in the museum, which I thought was the only prototype. Can you tell us more please?
