The Foxbat (I love 150s and I like Travellers but did they have to have a bd child?) is well know in XK and Jaguar circles, but I really don't remember this one.
Apparently it was converted in 1968 from a 1959 XK150, and was used for towing a race trailer. CY88's post jogged the memory and here's a photo from 1996 at Prescott. The car is a Realm fibreglass D-type and weighs not a lot, but under the bonnet is the same XJR6 supercharged 4 litre lump. Goes like stink!
ETA I see the Daimler Corsica above and the right height looks about right, yet I've never seen it with an engine in. Did they eventually put one in or just ajust the ride height?
