I'm racking my brains trying to remember who built the one-off XJ6 or XJ40. I have a picture somewhere and can't lay my hands on it. Anyone else know?

Someone built a transverse mid engined v12 2+2, I remember seeing an article in one of the owner clubs magazines some years ago, also a black XK8 estate with wire wheels. Sorry no pictures.

If you like Loewy's E-type,you'll love his take on a 1956 XK140.

Loewy's work was the epitome of the curate's egg. But he could be REALLY good when it worked.
