Cars and Car Conversion
Discussion
I suspect it's 50 years since Triple C started, I'm organising a display of ex Triple C cars next year and wondered if anyone knew of any existing Cars and Car Conversions competition cars. Already located the Brian Harvey Unipower GT, RHE's Cox GTM, Will Sparrow's rally Mini and Fred Game's race Mini. Any others anywhere?
I now own the Carburol Special which featured in CCC sometime in the late 1970's although it's currently stripped and in boxes awaiting a total restoration.

What exactly to you mean by an ex triple C car? Is their project cars or any car that was featured in the magazine?
Either project cars they built, cars the staff ran in competiton in CCC livery or sponsored like the Sparrow Mini. They built a sprinted Mini Traveller and a Jem as I remember and gave away these cars usually as they did with an Imp and an Anglia. Pete F said:

I believe Dave Walker's fiesta currently resides with PPC magazine, but not sure if it currently runs.
Think it's now with Kev Leaper of PPC and Retro Ford magazinesI was at an autojumble a few years ago and someone sold me a whole years worth of CCCs in a binder for a fiver, I bit his arm off.
My wife just thought I was mad
