Radio Cassette Players
Discussion
Imagine if you will the look on the face of a typical jag owner of the early 70's as an 18yr old Grumpy stripped his brand new XJ6 down to a bare cabin !Door cards out , all seats out ,carpets out, center console out , lower dash out , heater controls out , boot stripped to bare metal and rear light out .
Rear wing attacked with a holesaw ,inner lower back panel attacked with a holesaw , half the heater control panel mounting cut away and part of the inner door shell cut away .
4 speaker system radio cassette or radio 8track with automatic electric aerial and engine suppression .

My E-Type had one fitted from new (Sept 73) as an optional extra at a cost of £137.50 - 5 wire wheels were only a £101.75 option.....
It had a Blaupunkt Cambridge M23 fitted. It is still in the car, but only plays cassettes for a few wobbly seconds before ejecting it. Can any one recommend a good place that will service cassette radios?

Slightly off topic, but I bought one of these a couple of years ago as a present for my daughters original mini.
