Hi.

I went to the classic car show at the NEC the other week and there was a fantastic stall near the main entrance which was selling art work.

One that caught my eye, and I really wish I'd bought it now, was a print of an oil painting of what was *I think* an Aston Martin DB3s racing something through a bend. The Aston had a gaping mouth and two verticle bars in the grill space if that makes sense (I'm not up on Astons).

Anyway, it looks like it's a painting of a picture taken in the 1950s in pretty wet conditions.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

It's very atmospheric and I'd love to track it down.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. It's that actual car and year (a DBR1 apparently), but I've since found it's by Nicholas Watts.

Have found it now and just trying to upload it smile.

There are so many great pictures of classics at Le Mans, and so little wall space to hang them on.
