Great topic. I'm sure Tony will be along soon with some lovely pictures of his cars not being trailer queens. Cars should be driven and that makes them dirty.
A few years back someone brought a lovely XK120 OTS to the JEC meeting on a summers evening. The back of the car gleamed as he'd spent a hour or so lovingly polishing the car. The front was a covered in dead flies as he'd then jumped into the car and driven it as an XK should be driven. I can't find the pictures at the moment, but that was the sort of thing I like to see, love your car enough to polish her and then love her some more from behind the wheel.
