Alfa did that with the Sud, reduces un sprung weight which is good. But keeps them nice and warm next to the engine which is not so good.

Citroen got around that by making the pads from asbestos!

I had to clean the numberplate with a leaf because it was unreadable.

It's not really in keeping with the concept of this thread though is it? - When that picture/footage was taken, that car wasn't a classic, it was brand new.

I frequently spectate at classic rallies so will often see classics in need of a good wash, but here are some photos from the 2012 Rally Of The Tests of entries that you might think the owners would hesitate to use because of their value.

Personally, I love to see them being used in anger like this.

'Classic' Safari.... ie a recent photo, last couple of years perhaps.
