Such a shame it's not further south!

I've just bought a well-developed Sprint GT that's being recommissioned right now. I hope to be out in either the HSCC to the HRDC on the 4/5th April.

It would have been good to have another Alfa newcomer to pit myself against (although I presume the reference to the Subaru suggests that it wouldn't be your novice season).
Hi,

Yes sadly I'm a little far north to be a regular attendee at the southern races.

Are you doing the Alfaholics day at Coombe? It's on the 11th April and would be a good way to meet other Alfa owners/racers.

Actually this is also my novice season. The Subaru was a race car but I only trackdayed it and never actually raced.

Who did you use for shipping from NZ? Was it easy enough to arrange?

I used GT Logistics : www.gtlogistics.co.nz
Phil Gibbs is the MD there and has been absolutely brilliant all the way through. I cannot recommend highly enough. Very simple to arrange and if you're shipping into the UK then the agent they use at this end is equally well acquainted with classic and high value cars.

As you'll see from their site they're very experienced with car movements. My car is sharing a container with a 993 RS and a BMW race car.

I'm in the shipping and forwarding industry myself so can spot good from bad and wouldn't let anyone I don't trust to handle my car.
