I hate a nightmare with my car.

No, literally.
The other day i dreamt that i got in and my jeans ripped though the seat fabric and i needed a retrim.

My seats are in good condition but i do worry about them tearing :-/

I hate nightmares with my car too, mine was when my eyesight got so bad I couldn't see what was wrong with it.

It was only in the dream that i was wearing jeans. When i drive it for real i always stick to the Chapman philosophy.

I dreamed the other week that the battery had run dead flat and only one headlight was working, it had run out of fuel and the engine was making knocking noises.
Spent the next morning more worried how I dreamed things that were contradictions.
Weird.

When I was a teenager my first 2 cars were stolen so when I got my then dream-car as the 3rd (an Amber Gold Cortina 1600E) the paranoia was strong. It had to be parked on the terraced street where we lived in East London.

I started dreaming that it had been stolen overnight. I would breathe a sigh of relief when I woke up and looked out the bedroom window to see it still there.

Then finally I had the same dream, woke up and the car wasn't there! My nightmare had come true. I felt sick.

Then I REALLY woke up. I had bloody well dreamt that I had woken up but I hadn't. The car was still there and I still have it today. I think.

I had a white 1600E stolen once. Amazingly, I got it back - in those days joyriders didn't set fire to them.
