Products to remove road salt?

As per title, are they worth it? I try not to drive my mg on salted roads, but at the same it's not doing it much good sat in the garage for weeks on end, plus the mot is out soon!

It's well protected underneath, and hosing should remove the worst, but wondered if these products were any good!

Just use hot soapy water, no special product needed. Try not to use any product containing harsh petroleums or salt [washing up liquid]. I use Bilt Hamber, it works very well...

Although £9 very little is needed and it lasts a long time.
