Brooklands is a wee bit far for me, but I shall go somewhere in my XK120. First trip was on March 1st this year and damn near froze to death, but enormous fun as ever!

I'll post some pics from the Jaguar Run shortly. Unfortunately, the majority of cars were post-1995 and then the majority of classics were either XJ-Ses or E-Types.

Going home through Biggin Hill I saw a historic military convoy including, off the top of my head:
- a few Jeep MBs
- a couple of Land Rover Series III Lightweights
- Land Rover Defender
- Land Rover 110 Forward Control
- Austin Champ
- Dodge WC-Series
- civilian Citroën Traction Avant
- 1937 Wolseley 14/56 Navy staff car
- 1952 Standard Vanguard R.A.F. pick-up

I also saw an Austin Seven Special and a '60s Vespa/Lambretta near Westerham.

We had a shortened run out in our Manta's from Kent into Essex. Saw a Mk2 Jag and a meeting of MG owners, but that was about it. Didn't see as much as I thought I would. Imagine the rain spoilt quite a few runs.

Despite it being my daily we took the NG over to Bishopstone, N. Wilts for a very pleasant couple of hours. Met up with a bunch of folk we knew... Cars and 'bikes were coming and going all the time we were there. Just a few pic's as a taster...

Mercury Cougar and mini Mini.

Austin Healey and Day Van.

E-Type blocking the view of a Messerschmidt and a J.A.P. Morgan.

Brough Superior that the owner appeared to treat as just another old 'bike.

Mustang, MGA and Ginetta.

Don't know why they let these people in... V8 Victor gasser, Kustom PA, supercharged 383 '57 Chevy.

Sublime Riley.

That pub was my (weekday) local for a couple of years a while back - a great place, and I loved the village.

I went to a local pub that runs an occasional classic car meeting, very good turnout presumably down to the weather. Other members of my club went to Cosford which was apparently very good too.
