We've just decided to go to Brooklands for Drive It Day this year. It's a round trip of 360 miles from here (Derbyshire) but hell, it's all about 'driving' so we'll make a weekend of it and have an enjoyable time. What are your plans for Drive It Day this year?

I'm off to A.S Motorsport near Diss in Norfolk with a few friends. Will be taking the scenic route from Stowmarket ( about 40 miles rather than the 18 that is most direct ! )
Feel free to join us for the run from Stowmarket.. Pm me for details

They have an open day. Well worth a look if only for the locally made burgers !!

My cars way too new to get into Brooklands on drive it day.

I seem to have lost interest in driving my Barchetta at at any opportunity.

I'll just give it a quick 15 mile exercise if the weather is suitable for top down driving.

I hope you can make it.

I'll be on the Strathendrick classic car rally.

A well organised tour round Stirlingshire and Perthshire. Now fully booked with over 80 cars..... A good mix of classics out on the road that turns a few heads..

My Herald is my daily driver anyway, but the TSSC Drive It Day is at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford, just down the road from me, so I'll be off to that. Looking forward to a car park full of Triumphs. smile

Sadly, even though I try and offer moral support from France, I shall be in Alicante on that date, so my solidarity will have to take place another day.

We're thinking of taking the Midget on a morning run to Chartwell, where we'll view the start of the Jaguar Run to Brighton.

I'll be driving the MX5 NA but I'm not sure if it counts as a classic to drive?

Rather splendidly the Cholmondley Car Club are having their first meeting of the year, so I'll probably take something over there.

I'm at work on nights that weekend, but may be persuaded to take my 66 Mustang Coupe in to work on Saturday night so that I drive it home on the 26th!

Keep an eye out for a small fleet of Manta's driving up from Kent through Essex and into Suffolk. First time I've ever done anything on drive it day.
