Im involved in Exporting, so not sure about the other side (ie importing)
if you want my advice, swerve it and run to the hills change your name and join a witness protection scheme.
Ive had a lot of bother with Brazilian customs,
so much so, i make sure im the most expensive when dealing with customers from that county.

Pallets misrouted there by an airline, four years ago,
airline paid out a claim, because customs wont let them return,
courier shipments sent there addressed to member of staff at a company, then the company address, not delivered because it should be the company name first, then the persons name,
stuff for exhibitions never getting delivered because it was address to the vendor a the stand and the sellers agent at the stand.
awful.
im amazed they got the world cup to happen.
i make sure if i get offered anything there im so expesnive we dont get it.

And although I was asking the airline about turning them round and getting them back to Europe
Then onto China. I knew. There and then even though they were useless to anyone else. That was it. They were gone
