Tipped by Quentin Willson as a "sleeper".
What happened to the Bristol 401...I'm thought it was no reserve, but I didn't see it in the sold results?

I rather like the Riley Special. Hard to tell how much of it was Riley though.

Yes I thought that. Presumed in the flesh they must have been a bit rough though.

I didn't look at the Mercs but a there seemed to be a lot of fresh paint about and worrying things like overspray on door rubbers. Having been going to these auctions for a while now I definitely prefer cellulose paint to shiny wet-look two-pack on old cars though I am told it's possible make two-pack not so shiny.

That XK150 was rather 'suspicious' [shall we say]

rather -- seems to have - urm - somehow 'lost' its special registration number since last auctioned.... yet it is still un-MOT able [it seems] - odd , that... oh, wait, DVLA says it IS MOT'd afterall - how odder still ....

So many lovely motors, I want this :

Love everything about it apart from the dodgy aerial
It has a special kind of charm in that shiit-awful colour. At least you'd never need to wash it.

Every time I look at Stags I get drawn to eBay. Always loved them, first car I wanted as five year old boy. Never owned one.
