I really wish you hadn't posted the 'after' pic of Valerie; hashtag fantasies dashed.
Some other faded beauties here:

I wish you hadn't posted that brown P6. I have a set of wings and some decent front seats that would improve that car, Cheap too if it's solid where it matters. Some other faded beauties here:

The Monza Red V8 wafter I foolishly let go back in 2012...
I spent hours repainting and polishing those 3500S wheel trims. Sold to a lovely lady who is a live in gardener / general factotum for a retired Colonel type in rural Warwickshire, it now lives in a big wooden shed with another P6 and a bright yellow Jensen Healey.

Cue Sweeney soundtrack...
Wrong colour but hey ho :-)
I know what you mean, but in the Sweeney pilot 'Regan' the rozzers turned up in a red 2200, just before John Thaw uttered the immortal line ''get your trousers on, you're nicked''!Wrong colour but hey ho :-)

There's a few P6's in The Sweeney - a brown one as an unmarked cop car in In From the Cold springs to mind and I think a white one gets chased in another episode. A V8 I think as well, although can't be sure. Numerous other sitings in the backgrounds, outside shops, boozers etc. In hte very last episode, Regan's old oppo and his wife are just about to go out in one when Carter turns up ...
They used to be everywhere ... my dad's friend had one in the mid-70s, dark brown again ...

The Sweeney's P6 goes to the great scrap yard in the sky in this episode. 23mins in.

A little pricey, but the Dolly Sport's grown-up brother; the practical version for the dad about town.

There used to be a list of them online but I think it's long gone now. At least two of the rozzer P6s in The Sweeney turned up numerous times in the Professionals, and a brown 2000 Auto used in the second Sweeney spin off film (imaginatively entitled 'Sweeney 2') was used by Doyle in the first filmed episode of The Professionals ('Old Dog With New Tricks') although it wasn't the first one to be broadcast. It also turned up in another Series one episode driven by Doyle. The white V8 P6 is chased by the Flying Squad in 'Faces', a cracking episode from series 2 with Colin Welland playing a Mancunian hardcase. Yes, it is rather sad that I have this sort of info floating around between my ears, but aside from 'Inspector Montalbano' and 'The Bridge' there's sod all worth watching these days so I usually resort to the trusty '60s and '70s boxsets! Throughout both the Sweeney and Professionals there are quite a number of BL cars in regular use, Jack Regan drives a blue Maxi early on, his air hostess bird's white Mk2 Mini in the first episode 'Ringer' (it gets nicked by a pair of scallywags), Bodie and Doyle use the odd Maxi, an early TR7 and a blue Marina van amongst others, while George Cowley borrows an orange Marina Estate in one episode. They used to be everywhere ... my dad's friend had one in the mid-70s, dark brown again ...
Viva la BL, innit!
Doyle's P6...

Pricey but nice - that's the same dealer that bought the brown S2 XJ6 3.4 I went to view before buying my red one. They certainly have some nice cars from time to time, including some good P5s and P6s quite recently.http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C717547
Pics are a few years old but this Coupe is still knocking about locally, I saw it last week, seems to be a daily driver...
Doyle's Solihull wafter again...
Nice early-ish Rangie also used in The Profs (driven by Diane Keen), this episode was shot in the Summer of '77 so it wouldn't have been that old at the time... how much would a new Rangie have cost in '76...?

Listen to these images. Listen hard. That's the sound of rusting that is.
On a separate note here's a short vid of Scottish driver Ken Wood's Inverness-registered rally Dolly Sprint with Rover V6 power. Ken Wood has a long history rallying various Triumphs, Rover SD1 V8, etc.

And one from the 80s with the SD1. I remember seeing and hearing this V8 on a Scottish rally in 1985.

There's more info and vids on tinternet.
