Yes, for value it was hopefully insured for, one can buy a lot of specialist labour. Much more than enough, even if the insurance company only go up to 60% of value on repairs.

Not one panel left straight, manifold ripped off the block and we never found one torsion bar but it was racing again inside a year.

I'd say it's cause for celebration if the kid is alright and the car can be rebuilt. One more Astra off the road!!
