The mangled Aston was a complete write off, according to police.
I hope the lad is OK. Given money Astons can be fixed whereas people are a little more difficult.

Is it even possible to write off a DB5 these days?

Shaken, but not stirred.

The car will be rebuilt.

Yes, for value it was hopefully insured for, one can buy a lot of specialist labour. Much more than enough, even if the insurance company only go up to 60% of value on repairs.

If it costs £250,000 to put right I'd be surprised. Have a look at this-

Not one panel left straight, manifold ripped off the block and we never found one torsion bar but it was racing again inside a year.

I'd say it's cause for celebration if the kid is alright and the car can be rebuilt. One more Astra off the road!! clap
