I'll go for the Jomars older cousin the Microplas Mistral - this is the Buckler version ..

The Jomar was made using two Microplas bonnets ...
Buckler came up in converstions recently. First with an old friend whose father worked there, working also at British Uralite, owned by the same chap.

By a strange coincidence, one of the chaps in the pub near me used to live just down the road and remembers them being tested. He said he remembered the DBM and Monty Baker Munton too.
I have a photograph of Monty Baker-Munton's car SRT 777:

Turning this thread upside down, there are a number of cars I wish I could forget, and top of my list would be the Maxi 1500. Dreadfully underpowered, heavy steering, and, well, there were gears in there somewhere.

Historic racer Peter Mallett was one of three pilots who raced the ex-Mike Bell Gilbert the Gilbern (GT) at the Spa Six Hours 2021 race.
"Hi Albert. We started 80th and finished 47th. Had hoped for higher but a puncture at Eau Rouge in my stint knocked us back. A very good run from Iain Rowley and David Smith gave us that finish."
Shaped like a brick and slightly heavier than the MGB it is based on the GT laps Spa at 3:20s.

The Peerless later became the Warwick and was a relative of the Gordon Keeble.

I wonder if the gear-change was any better in the AC 3000ME, or even worse?

Last time I played GPL it was the 'proper' 8+ mile version of Spa though, unless there's a new Grand Prix Legends out?

Surprised this hasn't come up yet - the Probe. Pic taken at the 2019 NEC show.

Quite right, I stand corrected (and don't feel so bad about my time now!).
