When does the March issue of C & SC come out? Will the answer be revealed?
I'm presuming that as there has been no further word from jamesatcandsc they haven't had an answer:jamesatcandsc said:

Roll on March edition of C & SC to see if there is any answer from there...
I wouldn't make everyone wait for the mag if we get any info.Sadly, we have received absolutely nothing that sheds any light on the car so far.

The last few times I've looked in this thread I've had a little flash of recognition towards this mystery car, as if I know what it is. But then I realised it's probably just because this has been going on so long and I've looked at it so many times that it's now sunk into a deeper part of my consciousness.

I don't think it's the March issue, we will have to wait until April I think, unless James tells us first.
I'm sure he will.jamesatcandsc said:
I solemnly swear that, should we discover anything, PH will be the first to know.
But someone has to tell him the answer first. We may know one day, but I'm not holding my breath.galro said:
Here is another car that share some features with our mystery car while it obviously is not the same car:
A Aston Martin DB3/6 with a body by a Bob Dennis. The body was later further customized to include gullwing doors.
Perhaps Bob Dennis working further on his car styling skills before eventually producing our mystery car? While the unknown clearly have a more coherent styling, it does have many resembles to the Bod Dennis car around the windshield and the front door.
A lot of these low volume type cars obviously used glass from more common cars. A Aston Martin DB3/6 with a body by a Bob Dennis. The body was later further customized to include gullwing doors.

If for example, this Aston used the same front screen as the mystery car then it's likely to be easier to ascertain via Aston fans what the source was. If that is known then it may be route to finding what other cars utilised it also.
Does anybody know anything about Bob Dennis? the Mystery Car could well have something to do with him...!

What I know: His real name was Robert H. Dennis, he came from Surrey, England. He raced the car at Goodwood and in other events. He must have had access to some special cars as he fitted a Jaguar C-type engine in db3/6 and he later switched his ungainly body to DBR2/1 before switching it back again at a later date. Not really much to go on here, I know.
Do anyone know if it have been posted to the French forum forum-auto? They seems to have quite a few members with very deep knowledge of even the most obscure cars, and that is often the only place I find good pictures of rare cars that I may be looking for. Likely they won't know either, but it is worth a shot if no one else have already tried it.
