Watching an episode of 'Celebrity Antiques Hunt' or whatever its called, I saw a car I never thought I'd see again in the form of my old 1965 Rover 3-litre.
Apparently the cars for the show are supplied by Great Escape Classic Car Hire. Having checked their website the car is no longer listed so the show was probably a repeat.
She looked well, but my feelings were a little mixed I must say, I suppose the same feeling you would experience seeing new people living in a house you had lovingly restored.

The coupe was such an elegant shape and must be very rare now.

The hire company source the cars, but they rent them in for the programme. I have been asked several times to supply cars to them, but they pay 100 quid a day! It costs more to rent a decent modern, never mind 40k of classic!

They work on the principal the owner will be pleased too see their classic on TV, and take advantage of that IMO

You just need to watch the way the 'antique experts' treat the cars to come to the conclusion it isn't worth the £100 daily rate
