Wow Phantom! That Consul has a MKI bonnet motif.

But what's that under the blue tarp?

What sort of commercial lurks next to the Consul?

Is the Consul a rare one?

Need to take more pics, not far away so I will have another look

I think the chrome windscreen surround and chrome headlight bezels date it around 1961/2 and a 'Lowline' one. Not especially rare but that one looks very serviceable and a nice colour. I'm guessing that the interior will be grey.

That's look very much like a cavalier hatchback, what a state that's got into. Almost wonder how it could get so bad considering its from the mid 80's probably. Having said that what a piece of st anyway and good riddance

Yes it's on the north coast of Skye, it's being there for as long as I can remember, but it was just yesterday I thought about taking a picture of it , for this very thread...

I worked out in Qatar a few years ago, went for a wonder around one day and came across these.. I think they may have belonged to the Royal family or some pretty important people, sure the mercs were bullet proof and seemed pretty seriously spec'd..

Nice. Bulletproofing makes them really heavy and not something you'd want to live if you didn't need it. Shame.

The Whizzkid doesn't look like it's moved for a while.

Yes, there could be plenty of rot on that MX5.
