The ash frame has either rotted away to nothing or was removed maybe ... I always imagine there is someone, somewhere who needs a Moggie Minor steering wheel for their rebuild ... there's one right there!

If it was near me I might go and knock on the door and see if I could get a few bits of it for mine, although not a traveller it is cream with red interior.

Saw these today. Not exactly forgotten or abandoned but the tell-tale signs like tyres suggest these aren't getting much - if any - use....

Reading that thread about Saltwood castle, which I'd never heard of,presumably Mr C's cars haven't moved since he passed in 1999,which I looked up.

I think they get at best sporadic use and less and less as the years go by

My dad used to work on the DS when Alan C was still alive and I have been driven in it many times. Alan brought it new as a present for his wife, most of the cars now have sadly been sold but I have a lot of memories of Saltwood,.

Fascinating - was he the guy who re-commissioned the 2CV for Al?

Suspect that your old man would be sad at the sight of the DS - it looks as if it hasn't moved a wheel in years. It surprised me a bit because, as you said, it was Jane's car and I would have thought she'd have kept using it

I'd be surprised if these haven't been spotted before, seeing as they're on a road leading to Spa Francorchamps circuit.
Haven't seen them posted,so here goes.

There were more cars further into the property but I'd already walked past the défense
d'entrée signé,so preferred not to trespass further onto the rather rough pie type place.

Shame about that Belgium kit - bet that's all quite rotten by now.

One from me from a couple of months ago, XJ-6 SII LWB, sitting outside an old garage/ car lot in Benfleet, Essex.

Looked quite good, so hopefully will be saved by someone.

There is a BMW dealership/service centre not far from Spa with all manner old old sh*t like that dotted about. I called in once and bought a few nice bits from an E28 for a few Euros.

Ahh the perfect car for caravan banger racing.
