Vauxhall Velox PA Convertible circa late 50's early 60's. The Cresta had differet trim level and two-tone paintwork.
Edit to add that I've never heard of a convertible before though, might have been from overseas as I know some were built in Australia and NZ.
Look at that convertible roof Looks like it used to be a saloon, even once a 4 door.Edit to add that I've never heard of a convertible before though, might have been from overseas as I know some were built in Australia and NZ.

I posted this pic on here back in 2015. I think that is the original roof laying up against the garden wall!!
Or is that a removable hardtop???

What's that drop top Vauxhall?!
I'm not sure but here are a couple of pictures of it.I don't think they did an official convertible either ...
'Friary' did a Estate conversion on them though:
I think I remember a build thread of that 'Humper' posted PA. Was it on here?
Essence of the job was a Frankenstein mating with a Jag XKR. Great thread and some brilliant amateur engineering. I also remember a Victor crossed with something and a BMW 3 series with a MK1 Escort. Perhaps it was all the work of the same bloke. Hats off to him if so!

Mad Max does Surrey.
That's to 52classic.
The 'engineering' on that thing is truly shocking, spent a good time going over it at Wheels Day.That was taken last year, saw it few days ago in New paint.

It's why the IVA and DVLA Radically Altered Vehicle rules exist, and such a shame that people flout them.

Saw these on a farm near a business that I visited today! Quite sure not all of them are left to rot. I think there is a model T specialist that works from the farm so assume they must be theirs?
I assume that's a VW camper skeleton?
