A black SD1 went storming past me on the M25 the other evening. Despite being smaller than I remembered, it looked sinister.

Why can't tarpaulins be made that don't rot?

But I suppose then we'd never get to see what was underneath them.

I was having some work done on my old car at a friends lock up a couple of years ago. In the yard next door was a Porsche 914 poking out from what was left of a 'tarp'. I went to check it out and found that not only was the tarp in bits, the roof was missing too. The guy who's yard it was ran over to see what I was up and shouted, "It's a customers car, what ever you do, don't open the doors as it it will fold in half". Bet it's still there...

Every now and then here in Beijing, you'll see something that will stop you dead in your tracks as a pistonhead. For me it was seeing this Evo 5 RS abandoned in the Worker's Stadium, basically the nightlife center of the city. Now I admit this is not a classic in the sense of a series-1 911, but there are literally only a handful of these legacy Evos in the whole country, so it's s real goddam shame...
Lancer Evo.

I deleted the pic after reading previous posts.

These are slowly dying. There's a Mini, a Morris 1000 and possibly something else in front of the Rover, but saddest of all is the Fiat 500 hidden under the wooden panel and bushes.

The Fiat is covered, between the Rover and the Marina. They're only small.

Have you been drinking?

Breader's SD1 porn thread has whetted my appetite for Bache/King executive travel, but that 2600 has been off the road since 1988 so it's probably razorblades time.

The 2600 thread is here, although he's been flaunting his Solihull barging activities on the 'show us your classic' and 'My BL habit is bigger than yours' threads.

Visited a new-to-me Romanian car wash operation. They are located in an old factory building and inside this LHD C123 is rotting away. Bodywork very bad to the point it might be too far gone.

I suspect that piece of guttering has more structural strength than that rotter. Real shame.
