This looks pretty abandoned to Me:
I could be that in some far off office in Geneva, or Riyadh or Beijing, a PA goes through his or her bosses paperwork and keeps on top of all of the admin on the vehicles parked outside all of his properties aorund the world. Boss may have long since forgotten he owns it. Friend of mine works for a big US bank. Security in an NCP eventually traced an abandoned 997 to his bank and he helped them track down a big cheese who had left a few years earlier to go to a competitor. When he was asked about his abandoned 997, his response was "Er, nothing to do with me. Oh hang on. Black Porsche? London? Wait...oh yes, I think that could be mine, yes".

Also, how "Bosses" go to the trouble of sealing up the windows with electrical tape before going away?
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... it's also seen here, similar condition, different parking spot, in 2014.

2000 miles in 10 years, and it is a bit weird how it is taxed without an MoT
But the MOT could have run out last week and road tax/duty/whatever-you-want-to-call-it could have been bought on 01.01.2016?If you drive through rural France you see plenty of old, and some very old cars sitting in barns covered in dust. There is not the same level of interest in old cars over there as here nor the spare cash to do it.
I suspect it would be a good source of restoration projects if you like French cars.

Did the owner park it up when he saw the Google maps car then?
I wonder if it might have been a Google alien abduction!Storer said:

I love a good Euro road trip and I am desperate to get a trip organised when I actually have some money!I suspect it would be a good source of restoration projects if you like French cars.
I bought a Golf G60 from Switzerland about 15 years ago and would love to go hunting for interesting cars throughout Europe.

Going from Streetview on Google maps, it actually appears between May and July 2014, so it's just gone 2 years.
I've been pottering around that area when I visit London for many a year now. I first photographed it there just under four years ago, parked on the other side of the road in a similar state of dishevelment. I didn't mean to be pedantic, and was just going off the information I could get
Pity you've never seen it driven, it would be great if you caught up with the owner and they'd agree to sell!
How many residences would you say were nearby?
I'd be tempted to do a letter drop to see if anyone replied.
It obviously needs lots of work to tidy it up, but if it was cheap enough it would be worth doing.

1000s,it's central London but I guess only a certain % are allowed resident parking in that spot.
That note on the windscreen ,pic above ,didn't seem to work.
