See you there
I was hoping to see the Daimler SP250 go through but with 300 lots it'll be early evening before it does. I'll carry a rolled-up copy of the Times. Or maybe not. We need a subtle means of identifying a fellow PHer.LarJammer said:

That seems about right on price...but by God do I dislike these bullst auctioneering phrases, worse than bloody estate agents."The car does shows some desirable patina, but is solid throughout..."

Sounds like the Anglia results will be up in full around the end of this week but their initial report sounds as if it was all fairly healthy:
"A well-attended sale that resulted in 183 of the 244 entries being sold on the day and a further 5 being sold on Monday. With outstanding provisional offers still to be finalised, it is expected that 80% will be reached by the end of the week. Not surprisingly, in excess of 12% of the sales were to foreign bidders. Noteable results include the Ford Zephyr Zodiac at £18,900, Alfa Romeo Zagata £39,900, the 2008 Jaguar XK R-S 4.2 £24,665, the 1989 Mercedes-Benz 500SL R107 LHD £21,000 and the 1993 Mercedes-Benz W124 E36 Estate LHD for £19,425."

Most prices for things that sold are up now. I'm not seeing any collapse in values there.

Monster anglia auctions tomorrow.
For me just twenty miles away, though just had a new edition to the family on yesterday so probably busy!
Pity, i will remain an auction virgin.
