I mean, it is a rare version and only 700 were made, and it is a French "twini-mini" but £130,000? I wonder if someone had been on the "absinthe".

Apologies, yes I was wrong on the name, but I still can't get the price.

Such a crazy price, >>Estimation 60 000 - 90 000 €, Sold for 172,840 €<<

I recently saw a 2CV for sale in the US...if memory serves they're asking $200,000; utter madness.

Wait, a Dersh with two engines? That's pretty amazing all by itself! How does that work. Was it supposed to be 4 wheel drive then?

Basically an engine in the boot ! .. which made it even more awesome off road than regular A series Citroens

At least two someones...

I'm not altogether surprised, tbh. It's Retromobile. Loopy prices at the auction there are the norm, and Saharas have been up near €100k for a while.

(But, no, I don't understand why, either... Nor do I understand DS decap prices.)

Mental doesn't even begin to cover it. I mean, what about this: 1990 Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston No reserve € 38,144. FORTY GRAND! How about the Alfa Giulia Sprint GTA for €400k!!

Presumably when your poster boy sells for €32m, everyone looses grip on reality?
