ETA: found it. it was the dymaxion. designed by buckminster fuller and restored/recreated by lord foster. no idea where i got the GM connection!

http://www.archdaily.com/121530/video-norman-foste...

And that, is this very vehicle as taken at Goodwood in 2011. It was not a recreation but a full on restoration by Crossthwaite and Gardner in Buxted, East Sussex. I saw it in it's completely un-restored state at an open day they had there just a few months prior to Goodwood and asked Lord Foster, also present, if he thought it was going to be ready. "It had better be!"........It was. At the time they were also building the two 'new' Auto Unions. Quite a sight!

How I love the MM lettering: who does it or when can I find large pixel examples of a 1-0 'alphabet?

The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Berlinetta by Touring. This exact one, in fact. Original owner: Alberto Mussolini, gifted to his mistress and in which he was arrested trying to flee Italy.

Was lucky enough to see it at least years Techno Classica show. Beautiful , beautiful thing.

This Bugatti, with an unusually laid-back windscreen for the period, is the Louwman Musuem's 1932 Type 50t Coach Profilée.
