On the way back from Le Mans last year. An epic road trip, with great company. I kept the stickers on for quite a while. We need to do that again.

What am I missing here? What are bunsons/bensons? Is it supposed to be rhyming slang?
Does it relate to the pic of the Rover P5B? Sunglasses? Sideburns?

A bunse, is money as in, a nice little earner, as in bunsen burner.

How does this relate to sideburns? I'm confused?

When I was a kid we used to call sideburns bunsens, just assumed that it was rhyming slang!!! Clearly Cockney rhyming slang is a living language!!!

Parked up for a quick photo op during a B-road blast in the brilliant summer we had last year!

The SW is 22 years old this year.
I have no idea if you count that as a classic or not!

Indeed, it's well known in Aston circles.

...XMC 76 and XMC 77. They were a new development of the DB2 mainly especially for racing with drilled chassis and more powerful engine. Thus they even received their own code : DP47. The interior was also stripped and received racing seats.

I partnered the chap who owns XMC 77 on a AMOC european road trip in the 80's. On the way home 77 popped a core plug and 76 towed us back home from Dover. (I think 76 had been shipped in from Oz just to join the event.) I have some pictures somewhere, I must dig them out.
