A couple I've seen:

1973 Triumph GT6
Three spoke wheels have never looked good on anything! - End of!

Technically I suppose these are modern wheels on this one, as I think they were fitted to the Jensen after the Cresta was new, but I reckon they look great here:

1964 Vauxhall Cresta Estate
Now that works nicely! smile

Look great to me. Think Ferraris may be an exception to how many gens you can go since the 5-spoke stars are so consistent over the years.

I don't agree , The originals look miles better

The 1973 Trans Am is my dream car , Honeycomb wheels were available optional from the factory , albeit smaller.

I don't like skinny tyres , you need smaller rims with BF/Goodrich tyres with White lettering for the proper Muscle car look.

Nothing wrong with tyres that actually have a decent amount of rubber. Low profile is overrated in my opinion.

Look st on that too but then the SAAB's not exactly gifted in the looks department so they complement each other well. smile

Sorry for OT, but I can't agree that no car has ever looked good with three spokes:

Or the concept:

Granted, it is hard to get them right

The 348 is one of my least favourite Ferraris (sorry to any owners out there, I'm sure they're lovely....) but I have to concede, that looks as 'right' as any example I've seen.

Don't disagree about the overall look though I would say these appeared better in the flesh. Friends had one in black with those wheels and it had a real presence, if not a bit of menace, about it

GT6 looks okay, kinda ratty.
Rapier has misguidedly had some money spent on it @ Halfords.
Cresta looks great on those wheels.

Many thanks. smile
Everyone advised against the change - until they saw them on the car.
