I would guess that AC were trying to give the Greyhound a better ride quality!
The Ace and Aceca have a very "vintage" feel and tend to bounce along rough roads.
Yes, but you can always play with the transverse leaf and shock absorbers to get the type of ride you want. I played with my Aceca a bit but not too much otherwise you took away the handling qualities which were far better than anything else in their day.

We'll all be driving cars like that by the 1960s, you know.

To be fair to Mr Stout, a heck of a lot of people were driving Beetles and Cinquecentos by the 1960s...and the Fiat Multipla was a Scarab in miniature, pretty much, wasn't it?

The production Tridents I have seen look quite crude, but the TVR Trident prototypes are Trevor (Fiore) Frost's best designs.
I am with Roy, an amazing design from Trevor Fiore in 1965. The unbroken line around the car just pulls the whole car taut, and the lights rotate through 180 degrees rather than just being pop ups. In a way it is a shame that the design was for TVR, they were permanently skint in the early 1960s and never had a hope of being able to put it into production. Hardly surprising MarshPhantom hasn't seen one, just 3 coupes and one convertible were built and only the red coupe is still in the UK.

OLiver.
Don't forget about this when talking about Englishman Trevor Frost (Fiore). lick

One of the prettiest cars ever made, especially the prototype.
That's the replica that is located in the Alfa Romeo museum. This is how the prototype looks like (with a roof-mounted wiper).

Different Jaguars, 13 PH-pages full of 'em. And yes: most are lesser known.

One man's meat...

I knew someone who thought the Marina was beautiful (and I mean the car!).

I like curves too. This has more than Marilyn... but just imo.

The G4, a great car, however at 6ft. 1" I have a problem getting in and out of the FHC version even the ragtop is tight!

A Chevron B8 is gorgeous:

... especially in agile action. Lovely BMW 2 or 2.4 litre BMW four.

The B16 though:

... takes beauty to a whole new level. Screaming FVC yum.

I'd have a road legal rep in the blink of an eye.
