Beautiful:

adjective
1. pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically.
"beautiful poetry"
synonyms: attractive, pretty, handsome, good-looking, nice-looking, pleasing, alluring, prepossessing, as pretty as a picture; More
o of a very high standard; excellent.
"she spoke in beautiful English"

Nice:

adjective
1. 1.
giving pleasure or satisfaction; pleasant or attractive.
"we had a very nice time"
synonyms: enjoyable, pleasant, pleasurable, agreeable, delightful, satisfying, gratifying, acceptable, to one's liking, entertaining, amusing, diverting, marvellous, good;

The Elva is the latter!
I was always taught that it was wrong to use the word "nice" to mean pleasurable or good looking artistically. It was always meant to be used to describe accuracy such as
"That was a nice shot"
" that engine is put together nicely"
" that was a nice piece of driving"

Never "He was a nice man" should be "He was a pleasant man"

Only a nice car if it is put together well, slick gearbox, nimble steering and handling and brakes, responsive engine.

So perhaps a pleasant or beautiful car which drives nicely.

I don't actually know what this is. Nor is it mine, sadly.

But I saw it at Classics on the Common three years ago and it was about the only picture I took that day because I just fell in love with it on the spot.

What a car! It sounds even more having read up on its specs.

Good spot on the advert, sadly out of my league whilst property takes that sort of spare cash. Still, maybe one day.. smile

Thanks for the link. The American 'plates and the bit in the advert about coming from Texas tie in. Wonder if it had just landed?
