Had 1 of these in the 2000s bit bland looking but good fun - an M and S truck caught the back end 1 Xmas eve and it was written off but stayed on the road afterwards - maybe ended up drifting
Owned it 4 years and only ever saw about 5 more in that time

I used to quite like the look of those, sort of like an updated Opel Manta

If only that had gullwing doors it might have solved the “mystery car “ saga.

A mate had one of these, the facelift with the more aggressive face. He always said it was a hoot.

Terry had a Tara Green 1700HL and then a blue Ambassador. When looking for a pic I found out he had a Granada at the end of the run - a 2.8 no less (although older than the Ambassador)!!

I've only ever seen one example of a P6 with this Triplex roof, I wonder how many were actually fitted...

I know these are a design icon, etc, but they are also very ugly to my eyes.

I've seen references to approx 10-12 in the UK, over a period of approx 3-years from, IIRC, 1969, with just a couple still around c20-years ago, and maybe the same number still in the USA. Now? Not many, I suspect smile

I have a vague recollection of seeing one at one of the Earls Court Motorshows, although that might just be my imagination. Pan roofs are all the rage now, so perhaps they were ahead of the curve.
