Yeah, "Would you mind stepping out Sir, there's a Costa Coffe around the corner where you can warm up. I'll come and get you once the AA patrolman has been".Most memorable for me was the way the bonnet would rise up under full throttle, and the way the fuel gauge would move visibly towards empty while enjoying its pace, grace and space...

Lovely, very much like the more modern Z8 on which the latter is no doubt a homage to. Reminds me that a friend had a Z8 Alpina. Needed a rear light unit changing, very hi-tech and rare parts - something like £7k Spumfry said:
Is that strange middle-of-a-field location shot for the Urraco supposed to invoke memories of Lambo's tractor-building past?
I dare say, old Ferruccio was a farmer at heart! I've got some colour shots from the same 'shoot', it's a very early one I think from '72 just at the start of Urraco production. The prototype was first shown in 1970 but there were so many problems going on behind the scenes that it took nearly two years to get the first batch built. They were hoping to sell at least 1000 a year but built less than 800 in total.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
