What do you think you'll get instead? I have the same thoughts and go round and round with what to replace the Tuscan with.

Good question. Just get the feeling it may be time to move on. Had it since 2005, and as you know I've spent a lot of time and a fortune to get it where it is now but I'm just not using it. [It's done less than 23k miles from new!]
When I do get any time it's taken up with other things. Maybe a case of Winter blues along with making the decision to chuck in the towel on my business this month and just wanting to change everything.

if you have spent all that time and effirt not to mention money getting to where you wanted it ........................................ well I would step back and just let things settle and wait for the warmer weather then think hard and long as to what you really want to do then. Even though I do not know you I fear that you may very well regret a decision made to quickly now.

I get this..haven't touched mine since mid November. It's just sat on the ramp. During the winter when you don't want to subject the thing to a salt coating, or there's weeks of rain pissing down I start to think something else would be more usable and potentially more fun.

Mac, I implore you to at least wait three months or so and watch your investment grow in value by 10-15% just like that.
It's the wrong time to sell right now from the perspective of values.

And you need some things to stay steady in this time of upheaval.
Make a rash decision now and you will only regret it come the Spring.
Sit on your hands and get off Autotrader......

You have done more miles in the last two summers than ever before, and you would be hard pressed to replace it with anything with the same levels of pleasure and excitement for less than £100,000.
Hang on in there - times will get better, especially when it isn't such miserable weather outside.
If I wasn't so busy doing people's tax returns this lovely Sunday afternoon, I would come and beat some sense into you.

I get this from time to time and I'm not sure exactly what its about. I had it with the S and I have it with the Chim sometimes as well! I have times I want to change for a cerb (not sure that will ever go away) and dare I say something else sporty but more usable in all weathers and all year round yikes but then I go for a drive in her and it all changes.

I hate the winter and a lot more since I've had TVR's...reckon its that SAD thing smile

So maybe thats all it is for you....time of year and that you haven't driven it much?? The other thing is have you taken it as far as you can go and judt meed a new challenge? I've done the same with property over the years, done them up and extended and then moved as nothing much more to do or achieve?

I don't know but its familiar and got me thinking idea

No way your selling it redcard , it's part of you ! , I sometimes think the same too like every year there is always something to do, one blast in the spring and I think I have missed this. It's bit like a motorbike, you might not always use it but it just has to be there in the garage !!!

You gave me a right bollicking for not getting the turbo mapped quickly enough. I listened yes

The problem is that some PH peeps have posted pics of their V8 Vantages just to tempt you on this forum laugh Don't be tempted by the dark side. Clearly a severe case of S.A.D.

Don't you bloody dare bloke.....redcard

I sometimes contemplate something different but for me I just think of what I like doing best with it.

For me, what car is as quick as super quick on the road and with a tweak of a suspension adjuster be a very mad thing on a sprint circuit sliding into bends with the wheels locking up and powering out of bends with the tail wagging like a happy dog!

Add to that the fact that I can spend many a happy hour tweaking and fiddling in the garage like a child with a giant Mechano set, there really isn't anything else like it!

Of course I would like another more polished, comfortable, quieter and probably more sensible car in the driveway but until I could have both, the chim will stay.

I keep having the same thoughts. I'm a lucky boy in that I have a Porsche 996 as well. Keep thinking that the Porsche is more reliable. more modern and more economical as well but then I think that the TVR won't lose any money so might as well keep it until I'm 100% sure. If I put the money in the bank what would I get, 0.5% interest!!!
QBee are you an accountant???????
