Modern engine into a classic

Modern 6 cyl Jag motor would be just as good and much easier to fit, the V12 is a bit OTT in that particular body IMO

I agree with you regarding keeping the classic looking original externally, after fitting a modern EFI motor the car becomes a real wolf in sheep's clothing

I fitted plenty of EFI pintos into old RWD fords back in the noughtys, pepped em up a bit and gave a 50% increase in MPG win, win IMHO, after that i moved onto fitting for 8V twincams into RWD fords, made them even better i know a chap in essex who made a living fitting 24V granada engines into anything RWD for well over a decade, most of them were historic tax (free) never an issue with the powers that be

Who wants springs and shocks when you can have driving modes buttons?
Who wants toggle switches when you can have voice control?
Who wants to open the bonnet and see an engine when you could have a nice clean plastic cover?
Who wants the smell of petrol, leather and old-car-ness when you can have particle filters?
Who wants to get lost and end up somewhere unexpected following a map when you could have sat nav?
Who wants a classic car when you can travel much more comfortably, quickly, efficiently and cost effectively?
Me!
