Try driving an unregistered 1950s racer on the Sussex roads after a Goodwood Revival Meeting and see what happens hehe
Surely it must happen, just a little bit, up to the Kennels maybe.
Allegedly happened year 1 - people got fed up waiting until they were allowed to take trailers & transporters in, so drove down the road to the support vehicle parking field.

I have checked... it's not on the DVLA database.
I hope that was real. Magnificent!

Could only be better if it was an Ital 1.7SLX in Zircon Blue.
Photoshop did cross my mind too... but, maybe somebodys out of the box creation.
Slightly different colour. up to the rear door... but that could be caused by the tree shade.
Roofline looks very iffy where the second estate bit fits the first.
I think it's real. Mainly because it the whole car looks shonky enough to be some crazy old banger done up in someone's back street garage, but also because if it's Photoshop it is very well done - the angle of view of the rear axles is correctly slightly different, and the dots of printing screen (photo is of a printed image) over the image is even throughout. I like it, because twin rear axle estates are awesome. There was a similar Granada doing the rounds a few years ago, street spotted and then it popped up for sale.

Awesome. Sheddy, but awesome! I can't believe there were two so I assume that's the same car with a different plate.

Is that the same as the Marina above? Marina estate back end, Ford Capri front?

Saw this & great memories of finding an old abandoned car.
No SORN, so just left to be stripped until the scrappy came to collect it.

A bit of googling turns up another picture of the car complete with a rally plate taking part in a slalom. There's a picture (of another car) on the same site, where the plate can be seen better and it reads '1986 Stratos World Meeting'

I think it's a road car, a very nice one.

They still exist - I think it's the same guy built these 3. The factory made a coupe, but it was scrapped, I guess he made the other 2 just because he could!

It was thumbup as a kid in the late 70's we would often play on cratered WW2 bomb sites (plenty in London suburbs) often surrounded by corrugated iron (never stopped us) often with many dumped cars Hillmans,Austin's,Fords,Jags etc we often smashing the glass fuel pump domes and set fire to them inc oil bath air filters (yes yes I know yikes) the tanks often empty but the lines full, was many moons ago

Yep smile
Amazing we all survived given how much kids are wrapped up in cotton wool these days in the guise of H&S.
