Saw it scrolling through the lots and thought of this thread, can't be many of that vintage around.Just watched a rerun in the garage of the ‘76 XJ-6 4.2 car that Wheeler Dealers did - been in a garage since 1990 covered in blankets - looked lovely - owner had soaked the bores with penetrating oil every so often. Needed recommissioning obviously and they put two new fuel tanks on it, plus new exhaust and tyres, refurbed calipers and new discs at the back. Paid £5k for it - sold it for £8k! Bargain of the year surely …
