That's likely to be nearer £40k when the hammer falls.
Sold for £23.6k in the end.

You're not wrong. P6 2200 with 15000 miles for £6.3K looks great value. Unsold Morgan +8 asking 22K looks very fair also, assuming there is something left of the frame and chassis! And as for the black 7-Series Alpina B10 asking £18K.......if only I had the space weeping

The real bargains right now are cars from the prewar era. Annoyingly I bought mine when the market was a lot healthier...

The Landy arrives tomorrow! The perfect GADA family classic (if your family enjoys wearing earplugs)?

Wahey, I can post photos and links!

My old land rover dormobile, the car I regret selling the most.

Another ex, a beautiful Stag

Recently gone to a new home, volvo 245 with roof tent!

The current crop with just enough space to squeeze in the landy

And I have to finish rebuilding the back brakes before tomorrow.

And this is what I envisage for my sporty family classic, hopefully I'll be able to afford one in a couple of years time.

Just spotted this 1979 Fiat 131 on ebay...

I wouldn't bother! My Mum had one as a courtesy car when her Fiat 128 was in for attention - yet again. frown

There was nothing sporty about it with a wheezy OHV engine and rear drum brakes. My Fiat 132 1800ES had a rorty twin-cam, 5 speeds and 4 wheel discs.

If I was buying a Rover P6 I wouldn't bother with the 2000/2200 models. I had a 3500S in 1979 that was fun in a straight line but handled like a jelly!

It's quite a simple upgrade to change the front anti roll bar and fit uprated springs.
