Its a pre-war Aston Martin. A 1 1/2 litre Mark 2, to be precise.

Campian (rememebr that?) drove a Lagonda
Without being too boring this is incorrect. The car in Jeeves and Wooster is earlier than a Mk11 (which is from the thirties). I believe that the car is a very early International (an earlier 1 1/2)from the late twenties. Lovely car.

Campion did drive a Lagonda, an M45, as did Captain Hastings from Poirot. Lagonda`s from the twenties do have some similarity with Bentleys but they had smaller engines and were nowhere near as quick! (Hastings` was either a s/charged two litre or a three litre).

And in a final effort to confirm anorak status the picture above is of a late thirties Aston Martin 15/98 (or two litre).
Its a 1928 International. Was sold by Coys at an auction in Switzerland during Sept of 1998.
