Running an XK120 in the 1950s

Wonderful selection of stories and nostalgic photographs. I wonder if people were more adventurous in those days? Mind you, they'd need time and money, both of which are handy for any vehicle enterprise. It's interesting to see how many XKs survive of the total - currently somewhere around a third and no car seems to be beyond redemption these days.
